NS Somashekhar
Mr NS Somashekhar is a seasoned Investment Principal and strategist for B2B (business-to-business) and G2G (government-to-government) partnerships & New ventures. He is an information communication industry professional with more then 18 years of diverse leadership experience in promoting entrepreneurship and nurturing companies by providing investments and grants for ICT companies in Singapore. He managed the Internationalization & Industry Development Group at iDA (Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore) which is under MICA (Ministry of Information, Communication and The Arts). Government of Singapore. Currently, managing Group Corporate Marketing at Singapore Technologies Electronics.
Mr Soma is an exceptionally skilled communicator, adept at establishing and maintaining networks with top-level executives and providing key advice to industry leaders. He has a record of successes in broadband and digital media, e-governance, and public & private business partnerships & advice budding entrepreneurs at INSEAD Singapore.
Mr Soma has an MS in Computer Applications and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management (MIT Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership) and took programs at Harvard Business School & John F Kennedy School of Government as part of his MBA program.
Jeffery Lim
Jeff is a man with many “cores”. While his main “core” is in IT, he has dabbled in various entrepreneurial adventures along the way in his journey – including (to his surprise) being involved in a coffee joint. He currently provides IT and system administration services, and chances are, you will be familiar with at least one of his clients. He is currently working on his own startup on the side.
Chew Weng Huat
Weng Huat is a registered architect and urban planner, with 25 years experience/consultancy practice. He has been involved in an Ecological Master Plan (for the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco City), soon to be built in the Northern Sector, involving cleantech and renewable energy. His entry for the redevelopment of HDB’s Defu Estate won the design competition. He assisted in the development of the “One-North” area at Buona Vista, encompassing Biopolis & Fusionopolis.
