The annual ASEAN Science Enterprise Challenge is back and invites youths with a keen interest in science and business to participate. A challenge would be issued by scientist from MIT and participants would have 24 hours to develop a business idea to tackle the issue. Local youths will compete with each other and in parallel with other ASEAN countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Winners from each country will be automatically entered in the prestigious Global Enterprise Challenge (14-15 June 2010) which is held in Bali, Indonesia.
Details of ASEC 2010 (Singapore)
Who? Students in Registered Singapore-based schools aged between 15-18yrs old
When? The 2010 ASEC (Singapore) will be held from 29-30 May.
Where? Singapore Management University (SMU), Li Ka Shing Library SINGAPORE SCIENCE CENTRE
How Much? $130 per participant.
Prize? The winners of ASEC Singapore will represent Singapore in the Global Enterprise Challenge
